What should have been about a 6.5 hour drive turned into about 8.5 hours.  There were a few construction slowdowns and we arrived in Chicago during rush hour.  The drive was mostly uneventful, passing through Wisconsin we learned that Red Box’s still exist for all of your DVD renting needs and the pumps at gas stations will soon have TV’s.  Also, more than a few of the towns on the way have an Adult superstore of some sort and they think everyone should know via a large billboard on the freeway.
