Traffic was light, the scenery picturesque and then….snow!?!?! Before we descended into the Okanagan the side of the road was covered in snow, like a snow plow had just been by. The temperature was 11C and when we got to the Airbnb it was around 20C, thankfully no snow ☺️. We were looking forward to touring wineries, some tastings along with a bounty to take home. Not so much now but the weather should be nice, we’ll be able to go for bike rides and maybe a hike.
Love that area. Wine, golf, lake, all good things. Mission Hill, Summerhill (try the Pinot Icewine, it’s Tracy’s favourite) and Quails Gate some of our winery go to’s. Continue to enjoy some good eats and drinks!
Yes, our intention was to do “some” tastings ;). Unfortunately none are doing tastings right now, we’ll just need to come back :).
