We had a fairly quick drive from Innisfil to Etobicoke down the highway where the speed limit is 100 km/h. If you aren’t going 120 you aren’t keeping up with traffic, it’s the same no matter what highway you are on, 80 km construction zone or not. We’ve seen a few Police cars on the side of the road but they never seem to react to everyone wizzing by 20+ kms above the speed limit, puzzling. There are signs stating that 50+ kms over the speed limit is a max $10,000 fine, maybe they are waiting for a big fish and if you are doing 120 it’s not worth their time?
