Within walking distance of the Airbnb is Commanders Palace, a staple of New Orleans for very many years. Lunch was delicious albeit a little formal for lunch (so glad we’ve been trucking our suits along for the past 8 months lol) but worth it solely for the .25 Martini’s. You read that right, 25 cents! Three is the limit, because 3 is enough (as stated on the menu). They are famous for the Turtle soup but we could not bring ourselves to try it after having visited a Turtle rescue hospital while we were in the Florida Keys.
