
Lots of ups and downs on the ride and a little cool (15C and sunny) but….it could be worse, we could be going through yet another September snow storm back in Calgary. Sorry, not sorry Friends :).
We rode out to race point beach and watched the waves for a few minutes, there was a “rip current statement” on the weather network and the waves crashing proved the weatherman right, for once.



The shark warnings were interesting, we had no intention of swimming but if we did these may have changed our minds.


At the beach was the Old Harbour Life Saving Station. Pretty interesting and totally foreign from our experience having lived in Alberta our entire lives. Click on the link :).


Sand fencing, we’ve only ever seen this type of fence used for snow.
