provincetown causeway

We finished up the day walking the provincetown causeway. After the hike through the dunes we grabbed some lunch and then headed over to the causeway. it was just after high tide and there was a sign stating to plan your trip according to the tides. We weren’t sure what to expect but the tide was definitely high. There was one point where we had to time our step just right in order to not to get our feet wet, then on the way back it looked like a different path. This was a good walk where at points we felt like we were free running extreme style :P. There were parts along the “path” that had a 4 or 5 foot crevice in between rocks, some rocks were what seemed a 90 degree angle..again the end result was worth it. We were the first ones across after high tide so had the end beach all to ourselves.

on the way out
on the way back, about 1 hour later
these are all shells, shellfish are easy picking for the seagulls at low tide. On the way out there were very many seagulls lounging on the rocks that we disturbed.
we assume this is the ferry from and to Boston
the beach is busy, if you count all the birds
