We went for a bike ride yesterday and missed lunch so we were famished by the time we were heading out for supper. Superior Seafood was in our Airbnb’s host guidebook for their happy hour…wait for it…75 cent oysters! Ok maybe not that big of a deal since it’s about $1 Canadian but…these were some of the biggest and best we’ve ever had. They were so good 😋. The $4 beer was good too, but I’d say not as good as the $3 beer on bourbon street lol. We had a dozen oysters in Panama City Beach at a happy hour for $5 but…they were worth every cent of $5 and not a penny more. After the Oyster appetizer we both had a shrimp and crab bisque…yum! For our mains, Chris had blackened catfish and I had a herb crusted redfish, both delicious. No dessert, except a Sazerac for me 😉, as there was a beignet place not too far away which, once we got there was out!?!?! WTF!?!? YOUR CALLED COFFEE AND BEIGNET WORLD OR SOME SHIT!!! Anywhoo, we got a coffee and a cinnamon roll…the milk had curdled in our coffees to go…and the cinnamon rolls weren’t great. I guess the beignet place out if beignets should have been our clue to just walk away.
