We left a chilly New Orleans this morning for a little over 8 hour drive to Mesquite, Texas. We chose our next 4 stops solely based on drive times and Hilton’s (our chosen hotel rewards) as we make our way west. We drove past the Super Dome shortly after we left the Airbnb, which is huge and deserving of its name, and crossed the Mississippi River for the last time on our travels. We first encountered it in Minnesota almost 8 months ago, crazy! We’re making our way to Palm Springs, where we’ll stay for a month. The pool will be heated and waiting for us and we’re so looking forward to it ☺️. It’s going to take us 4 days to get there, 2 stops in Texas, then 1 in New Mexico and Arizona.
